Just as the name suggests, this is a game about managing a football team; you will be in charge of developing their strategy, recruiting new members and training them. As a manager, you do not have the supreme authority over the team. Although you have a lot of autonomy – the game would be boring otherwise – you answer to the Board of Directors and have to meet their expectations. You must also keep in touch with the team’s fanbase. They might not have the power to sack you, but the team’s financial success depends on their engagement. Thankfully, you can choose which team you want to manage at the start of the game. This way, you can make sure that you will not bite more than you can chew.
