GTFO is a multiplayer-centric horror FPS developed and publised by 10 Chambers. You must venture into the abandoned research facility simply known as the Complex to perform a variety of tasks. These will be very dangerous, but as prisoners, you have no option to refuse. Thankfully, at least you are given time to prepare beforehand… this will be necessary.
You must coordinate with your team throughout the whole game, as even a single mistake can be deadly. Even preparations must be coordinated; as each prisoner can only bring so much kit, it is essential to bring different items to cover a variety of possible scenarios. Stealth is also essential. Although the Complex is filled to the brim with dangerous creatures, many of them are hibernating, and will not attack unless awakened. One careless player can easily ruin the run for everyone, so don’t expect to just ignore your teammates and do everything by yourself.
The game can be played with bots if you want to play solo, or don’t have enough players to fill a team of four. But with their limited abilities, your experience will be even harsher.
Although the game is only available on Microsoft Windows, it is possible to play GTFO on Mac as well. Read the guide below to learn how.
