RAGE 2 is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios. As a sequel to the original Rage, it is set in the same post-apocalyptic world. For those of you who need a recap, an asteroid impact has destroyed most civilization on Earth, with scant few settlements remaining. One group, called Authority, has taken advantage of the situation, using power to establish themselves as the new government – a harsh and oppressive one. RAGE 2’s protagonist is a ranger named Walker, whose hometown was destroyed in a raid by Authority. To aid him on his quest for revenge, you will have to fight countless enemies, navigate the game’s open-world environment, and pilot all kinds of vehicles – motorcycles, buggies, boats, and even gyrocopters. Though they’re mainly used for travel, sometimes you’ll have to fight using these vehicles as well. RAGE 2 can be played on several platforms; officially, it is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
