The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a survival horror multiplayer game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Gun Interactive. Much like other games in this genre, it pits the players against each other; the “guests” team and the “Slaughter Family” team have opposite goals. Just like in the movie the game is based on, The Slaughter family aims to eliminate all guests. The guests, meanwhile, must hide from the killers or evade them, as well as perform tasks – like powering generators and picking locks – with the eventual aim to escape. Whether you play as a victim or as a killer, teamwork will be required to get things done. A solo killer can be easily avoided, while a solo victim is very vulnerable and ineffective while completing tasks. This is fundamentally a multiplayer experience, after all.
