Ary and the Secret of Seasons is an adventure game developed by Fishing Cactus. A girl named Aryelle (shortened as Ary) becomes the Guardian of Winter, and gains the power over the seasons as a result. For unknown reasons, the weather is going crazy all over the world, and this power very well might help. Thus, Ary embarks on a journey to end this calamity.
But she is not the only one looking into it; after all, it affects the whole world. Soon, Ary joins forced with an ancient organization simply known as the Guardians of Seasons. Although they are knowledgeable and powerful, many of their efforts are undermined by their highly rigid, tradition-based approach.
To uncover the truth behind the weather catastrophe, Ary will have to visit many different locations; lush forests, abandoned temples, and underground dungeons, to name a few. In these vibrant and beautiful-looking places, she will have to solve environment-based puzzles, engage in combat with a variety of enemies, and manipulate the seasons to gain an advantage.
