Baldur’s Gate 3 is a roleplaying game developed and published by Larian Studios. Based on Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition rules, Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very tactical experience. In combat, you will be required to keep track of initiative, positioning, and the environment, as well as carefully choose from hundreds of available actions. In a true RPG fashion, player agency is highly respected; you will have many opportunities to make decisions and see how they affect the world around you. Your companions will react to these decisions, and may leave if they disapprove. The Steam page for Baldur’s Gate 3 states that it’s available on both Windows and Mac; however, this is not entirely true. If you attempt to download the Mac version, you will discover that it’s the Early Access version, not the full release. The full version of the game is planned to release on Mac in September.
