Forza Motorsport is a racing simulator game developed by Turn 10 and published by Xbox Game Studios. Thanks to capabilities of modern hardware and a sizeable development budget, it was able to improve on previous games in pretty much every way. Hundreds of new cars and dozens of racing tracks were added, graphics were improved significantly, and, of course, the accuracy of the simulation is better than ever before. For example, Forza Motorsport simulates accumulation of dirt on the tires and adjusts their properties accordingly. While not an unusual mechanic in off-road driving simulators, its addition to a racing sim is quite innovative. Other improvements include redesigned AI opponents, support for real-time ray tracing, adjustable FOV, and a variety of planned online events. Though Forza Motorsport is a very fun game, it’s quite obvious that Xbox Game Studios does not intend to release it on Mac. However, you may be able to sidestep this issue altogether.
