Neighbours Back From Hell is a puzzle game stylized as a reality show. The premise is very simple: you find your neighbor obnoxious and impossible to coexist with, so you decide that it’s time for some payback. Now, it’s time for him to suffer at your hands, not the other way around. And to make it even worse, you’re going to capture it on camera and broadcast on TV. The game, again following the TV show conventions, is split into two “seasons”, and each of them is further split into “episodes”. An episode is, essentially, a level for you to complete. All of them have several opportunities to annoy, frustrate, or humiliate the unbearable neighbor, and your goal is to find – and pull off – all of them. This isn’t particularly difficult, though there’s an element of stealth involved. Another, much harder, task is to keep your neighbor as frustrated as possible for the duration of the entire episode. This involves carefully positioning your “pranks” to make him experience all of them in rapid succession. Neighbours Back From Hell was released on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and Android, but not on MacOS. Thankfully, it’s still possible to play Neighbours Back From Hell on Mac.
