PowerWash Simulator, developed by FuturLab, is exactly what the name suggests – a game about power washing. It is rated “overwhelmingly positive” on Steam, and it is easy to see why; this is a very relaxing and satisfying experience.
Your journey as a professional powerwasher will begin by cleaning your own van. After doing this, you will be able to travel to many utterly filthy locations, like backyards and playgrounds. Your clients will expect you to turn them squeaky clean, which can be accomplished by methodically eliminating any speck of dirt and grime, cleaning object after object. Less methodical cleaners have a choice to settle for a lower payment; a choice you should not be afraid to make as some dirty spots are easy to miss even if you’re diligent.
As you progress through the game, you will gradually upgrade your equipment and unlock more locations to clean, including some fairly exotic ones. But the core gameplay loop will remain simple and satisfying throughout the whole experience.
PowerWash Simulator is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch consoles, as well as on Windows PC. OS X is not officially supported; that said, you can play PowerWash Simulator on Mac anyway. The guide below will explain how.
