Shatterline is a multiplayer FPS developed by Frag Lab LLC, a Ukrainian game studio. The game features many different games modes. Some of them – Team Deathmatch, Conquest, Plant the Bomb, and Escort – are present in many other PvP shooters as well. However, it also introduces an innovative PvE mode, Expedition, which brings roguelike elements into the game. Another PvE option is the game’s missions. Only two – Red Lake and Hecatomb – are available right now, but more will be added in the future.
Shatterline features four classes with two playable characters per class. Twenty five different weapons are available, which is already an impressive number. However, the ability to craft attachments and modifications for these weapons extends overall gameplay variety even further.
Maintaining an active playerbase is crucial for a multiplayer game, which is why Shatterline uses a free-to-play monetization model. There’s no barrier to start playing this game other than its system requirements. Those wishing to show off, or to support the game, can purchase cosmetics, as well as a very generous battle pass.
Currently, the game is officially available only on Windows, but it’s also possible to play Shatterline on Mac. We will explain these unofficial solutions in the guide below.
