Ship Graveyard Simulator 2, just like the name suggests, is a simulation game about salvaging ships. It was developed by Games Incubator, a Polish gamedev studio. In theory, dismantling ships is very similar to dismantling electronics or furniture; you recover all useful components and turn everything else into scrap. In practice, however, there is one complication. Ships are big. Really big. Much bigger than you. Dealing with massive hulls can be tricky; often, you’ll need either a crane or a team of workers to assist you. The interiors, on the other hand, can be salvaged on your own. But it is still a slow process – if you want to stay alive, that is. You must ensure that there’s no power before dismantling wiring, for example, and to wear appropriate protection when dealing with toxic materials. Gravity must also be respected; you probably don’t want to scrap load-bearing structures while inside. Like many other simulation games, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is a slow but satisfying experience.
