The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf is a platforming game developed by OSome Studio. Though obviously aimed at the fans of the Smurfs show, it is a fairly decent – and even challenging – platformer in its own right. The evil wizard, Gargamel, has found yet another way to annoy the Smurfs. This time, his plan to harm the blue creatures involves spreading an malicious plant appropriately called Vileaf. It is toxic and harms other plant life around it, but even more concerningly, it has the ability to capture smurfs inside of it. Papa Smurf, the village leader, soon became aware of this threat. He tasked Handy Smurf with making The Smurfizer; this invention allows smurfs to heal poisoned plants, but also to jump higher, to dive, to glide, and to perform other moves useful in a platforming game. Four iconic characters were given a Smurfizer: Chef Smurf, Hefty Smurf, Brainy Smurf, and the Smurfette. Now they must venture into the forest, destroy all Vileaf plants, and put an end to Gargamel’s evil scheme. This game can be played on PS4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
