For Honor is an action game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game allows players to play the roles of historical forms of soldiers and warriors such as knights, samurai, and vikings, controlled using a third-person perspective. The game is set during a medieval, fantasy setting, where players can play as a character from one of five different factions, namely the Iron Legion (Knights), the Warborn (Vikings), the Dawn Empire (Samurai), and the Wu Lin (Ancient Chinese). The game’s plot revolves around a tale of warring factions deep in a crucial moment of an age-old war where they battle not only their faction enemies but the army of the merciless and bloodthirsty Apollyon, the leader of the Blackstone Legion. The game’s story campaign is divided into three chapters, each with six missions, where players can play as one of the game’s heroes and learn more about the game’s lore.
