World of Warplanes is a multiplayer aerial battle game developed by Wargaming. The company also developed World of Tanks and World of Warships, covering land and sea battles respectively. The game features many different planes that were in service during 1930s and 1940s. Most of these aircraft come from the US, Germany, the Soviet Union, and Japan, but countries like China, France, and even Poland are also represented.
The gameplay of World of Warplanes is generally easy to understand. There are two teams composed of 15 planes each, battling for aerial supremacy. Each team gains supremacy points for destroying enemy planes and ground targets. Once a certain amount of points is achieved, the team wins. Another way to win is to simply destroy all enemy aircraft. In the 2.0 update, several new game modes were introduced: Conquest, Invasion, Attrition, and Bomber Escort. Although less popular that the default mode, these modes provide a fresh spin on the gameplay, which is obviously not without value.t
The game is only available on Microsoft Windows, but it’s also possible to play World of Warplanes on Mac. The guide below will explain how to do this.
