Choo-Choo Charles is an unconventional horror game made by an indie developer Two Star Games. You are stranded on an island inhabited by a monstrous spider train named Charles. As it is much faster than any person, foot travel is incredibly dangerous. But you have a train of your own; although it’s just an old steam engine, it will help you traverse the terrain without falling prey to the evil train. You must be wary, however. A train is both an advantage and a weakness. You can go faster this way, sure, but you can only go where tracks are. Want to make a sudden turn? You can’t. Charles, being a hybrid spider-train abomination, does not share this weakness, so it is essential to carefully plan your route in advance. As you aid other people living on this inhospitable island, they’ll reward you with weapons, but also with scrap. This is an upgrade material that can be used to improve your train’s speed, damage, and armor. Eventually, you will become powerful enough to bring the fight back to Charles, killing him and ending his reign once and for all. Sable is an open-world adventure game developed by Shedworks and published by Raw Fury. It follows the journey of Sable – the game is named after the protagonist – a young woman who’s traversing a deserted, inhospitable land as her rite of passage. The game does not have a main quest to constantly guide you; instead, you are simply left in the desert, free to explore the world around you at your leisure. It has plenty of mysteries for you to discover. Vast ruins – remnants of bygone civilizations – litter the landscape. Find your way inside, solve the ancient puzzles, and see what’s stored in the databanks of the still-operational machines. Or don’t. In Sable, you explore the world on your own pace. There are collectibles for you to discover, places to explore, quests to complete, and people to help, but the game will not point you towards these things. Pick a direction and go; see what lies on the path you chose for yourself. In 2021, the game released on Xbox One & Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows. In 2022, it received a PS5 release as well. Syberia: The World Before is the latest installment in the famous point-and-click series known as Syberia. Although it is the fourth game in the series, The World Before features a standalone story and doesn’t require any prior knowledge of the universe. PowerWash Simulator, developed by FuturLab, is exactly what the name suggests – a game about power washing. It is rated “overwhelmingly positive” on Steam, and it is easy to see why; this is a very relaxing and satisfying experience. Your journey as a professional powerwasher will begin by cleaning your own van. After doing this, you will be able to travel to many utterly filthy locations, like backyards and playgrounds. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is the second game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series known for combining FPS gameplay with survival horror. It has been developed by GSC Game World, a Ukrainian game studio. The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is a collection containing all four seasons of the game, as well as the Michonne miniseries.
