The Gnorp Apologue is an incremental strategy game about creatures known as gnorps. The game doesn’t tell us much about what gnorps are like, but they happen to live near a strange rock. When hit, the rock produces shards. While this is not surprising on its own, the rock doesn’t get smaller in the process. And the shards themselves seem to have magical properties, as they can be used for literally everything. Needless to say, the gnorps decide that their entire civilization must revolve around obtaining these shards, and you need to help them to fine-tune this process. There are two steps to it. First, the rock needs to be hit to generate shards. Second, the shards must be retrieved. While this sounds simple, both of these actions can be done in a multitude of ways; the fun part is figuring out the best and most optimal ones. Although Steam lists the game as available only on Windows, you can also play the Gnorp Apologue on Mac.
