How to play NARAKA: BLADEPOINT on Mac

Is it possible to play NARAKA: BLADEPOINT on Mac?

Based on the Unity engine, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is a battle-royal videogame inspired by various types of martial arts. The game sets up 60 combatants right from their seats to delve into the action and start fighting against each other on a war-torn island. Each player can choose to control 1 of 7 heroes with their unique skills and abilities while uniting with the other 3 friends or going fully in solo. Unlike in many last fighter standing videogames where players have to scavenge for bulletproof kevlar or assault rifles, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT puts its gamers into the world of searching for various daggers, spears, katanas, and other sharp-deadly melee or ranged weapons along with breastplates and magical trinkets while fighting the enemies. The game also allows performing crazy-vicious combos with the found gear and unique skills possessed by each of the characters. Thanks to the great agility skills of each character, players can swing around the map and find new locations to watch their enemies and map out the tactic on how to attack them. This high-tense and very versatile game will for sure give a fresh look among all common battle royals you’ve seen so far. It is far beyond the borders many players got used to while playing other games in this genre. At the moment, the game is available only for PlayStation 5 and Windows platforms. If you are the one willing to launch and play it on Mac, this means you visited the right page as our guide will help you do exactly that.

Play NARAKA: BLADEPOINT on Mac with BootCamp

Note: Mac computers with new Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3 Pro, or M1, M2, M3 Max) currently do not support BootCamp. In this case, please, use the options above to run NARAKA: BLADEPOINT on Mac

This method is simple but time-consuming. If your Mac meets all the system requirements above, this is probably the best way to play NARAKA: BLADEPOINT for now. You need to set up a dual boot of Windows and Mac via BootCamp. BootCamp allows users to choose the system to work in on startup, however, you won’t be able to switch between systems like in Parallels. You will need to reboot your machine every time you switch from Mac to Windows and vice versa. Remember that Mac is just a computer, that uses common processors, RAM, disks, and other components. So you can install Windows on Mac by allocating disc space of a minimum of 64 Gb (to be able to run Windows and a couple of games). To set up Windows via BootCamp, please, do the following:

For OS X El Capitan 10.11 or later

Mention, that for MacOS versions prior to OS X El Capitan 10.11 you will need to create bootable Windows USB.

  1. Download Windows ISO file
  2. Open Boot Camp Assistant (Go to Applications > Utilities)
  3. Define the Windows partition size, choose downloaded Windows ISO file
  4. Format Windows partition and go through all Windows installation steps
  5. When Windows boots for the first time, follow on-screen instructions to install Boot Camp and Windows support software (drivers)
