Remnant II is a grim, souls-like adventure game. It was developed by Gunfire Games, a Texan game studio. The game is set in a fantasy post-apocalyptic world originally explored in Remnant: From the Ashes; to summarize, the Earth has been corrupted by an evil interdimensional presence known as the Root. Remnant II heavily focuses on replayability; the game’s storyline, quests, bosses, enemies, and friendly characters are all procedurally generated. In addition, it features many different character classes – called Archetypes – that have their own unique playstyles. They need to be unlocked through gameplay; think of it as a source of extra challenges to complete. Curiously, multiple Archetypes can be activated at once, allowing for impressive build variety. Way of the Hunter is a hunting simulator developed by Nine Rocks Games, a gamedev company in Slovakia. It aims to accurately recreate the experience: you will need to choose the right firearm, explore the terrain, find and interpret animal tracks, and much more. Each species of animal has their own AI, modelled after their real-life counterparts; as a result, hunting each is a unique challenge. Xenonauts 2 is a tactical roleplaying game developed by Goldhawk Interactive. Set in the alternative universe where the Cold War never ended, while UFO sightings are becoming more common by the day. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a massive adventure game developed by TT Games. It adapts all movies in the main Star Wars series (nine in total). To faithfully recreate them, a wealth of content was added; for example, there are 23 planets for you to explore – full of structures, characters, and sidequests. Notably, the world of the game is fully open, and will not force you to conform to the rigid structure of the movies. Once a planet is unlocked, you can travel there at any moment. Similarly, the game allows you to play as any character you want – there’s hundreds to select from – even when it doesn’t exactly make sense. Overall, this is easily the best entry in the LEGO Star Wars series. Unfortunately, even though it released on many platforms (including Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch) this game is not available on Mac.
