Lords of the Fallen is a Souls-like Action-RPG developed by HEXWORKS. The evil god Adyr is about to rise again, but there’s a brave hero who seeks to stop him. This hero, of course, is our protagonist. There’s a variety of ways to customize his appearance, and many ways to fight as well. But the primary appeal of the game – and the feature that makes it stand out – is the dual nature of the world you inhibit. You are able to shift between the physical world and the realm of ghosts, and both need to be explored to make progress. Obstacles present in one world might not exist in the other, enemies might become weaker, or stronger, or disappear entirely… long story short, the two worlds are similar, but not quite the same. And, of course, the aesthetic differs too; the ghostly plane of existence is just as disturbing and Lovecraftian as you’d expect. CrossOver, developed by CodeWeavers, is a Windows compatibility layer for macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. Unlike Parallels Desktop, CrossOver supports DirectX12 games. All things considered, this is a relatively easy way to run Windows software and games on non-Windows devices. For MacOS versions prior to OS X El Capitan 10.11 you will need to create a bootable Windows USB.

1. Download this Windows ISO file.
2. Open Boot Camp Assistant (Go to Applications > Utilities).
3. Define the Windows partition size and choose the Windows ISO file you’ve downloaded.
4. Format the Windows partition and go through all Windows installation steps.
5. When Windows boots for the first time follow on-screen instructions to install Boot Camp and Windows support software (drivers)
