Fortnite Festival is a rhythm game developed by Epic Games. Its only connection to Fortnite itself are the playable characters and the overall aesthetic; but the way these games actually play couldn’t be more different. The gameplay formula of Fortnite Festival is exactly what you’d expect from a rhythm game. Notes fall down the screen in five lanes, and once they cross a certain threshold, the player must press a key that corresponds to their lane. Typically, the player will perform solo, but there’s also an option to play in a “band” of four people, where each person is responsible for one music instrument. There is a relatively large library of music available in the game, and new ones will be added on a regular basis. Furthermore, the players can remix the songs by layering and rearranging instrument tracks. Although Fortnite Festival is not as complex as other rhythm games on the market, it can still be enjoyable, especially for existing Fortnite fans. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is a fighting game developed and published by Cygames, a Japanese game development studio. The game is well-balanced and generally easy to learn, but the developers added several interesting mechanics to spice things up. House Flipper 2 is a building simulator developed by Frozen District. It is a sequel to the original House Flipper, and follows the same formula. Your goal is to purchase houses, repair and renovate them, and then sell the result for a handy profit. The process is rather relaxing, for the most part. Expect to do a lot of cleaning, painting, and furnishing. You might also have to demolish some walls, or construct new ones. All of these features were in the original game, but House Flipper 2 also adds some new ones. For example, you now can build a house entirely from scratch, adjust height of the walls, and play user-created missions. The graphics received an upgrade as well; unfortunately, there are also several features that are missing. Before-and-after shots, a satisfying part of the first game, are nowhere to be found.
