Chained Together is an obstacle course game developed by Anegar Games. Designed around cooperative play, the game requires that you and your friends climb to the top of the map while being connected by a steel chain. As such, teamwork is mandatory; you will not be able to ignore a teammate who is lagging behind. It also means that you will have to coordinate with others if you want to explore, for example. However, the chain is not just an annoyance. It can also protect you from long falls and help getting around certain obstacles. Chained Together also features a solo mode; though the game is not intended to be played this way, beating it alone is also possible. So, you can enjoy this game even if you don’t have friends willing to play with you. But can you play Chained Together if you don’t have a Windows PC? As it turns out, yes. Officially, the game works only on Windows, but special third-party tools can be used to launch it on other operating systems. In this article, we explain how to play Chained Together on Mac.

Shadow of the Erdtree is a DLC for the incredibly popular RPG, Elden Ring. Even though it is just a DLC, it features a massive amount of content. This includes a new map, an intricately-crafted storyline, ten boss fights, and a whole arsenal worth of gear. Knowing their audience, FromSoftware made all new content extremely challenging. If you don’t have an optimally-built level 100+ character, Shadow of the Erdtree might as well be impossible. And if you do… it’s still going to be a brutal, unforgivable experience. Much like the base game, the DLC is very open in its design. From the very beginning, you will be able to go wherever you want. Obviously, there are some specific things you will have to do to advance the story, but you can also just explore, searching for secrets or new weapon types. In short, every fan of the Souls genre should buy Shadow of the Erdtree immediately… but there is a slight problem. Elden Ring is not available on Mac, and – obviously – the DLC doesn’t support it either. The good news is, the issue can be bypassed. Read our guide to learn how to play Shadow of the Erdtree on Mac.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a JRPG developed by the famous Japanese studio, ATLUS. Much like other Shin Megami Tensei games, it is set in modern-day Japan and features strong supernatural elements. The game’s protagonist – an unnamed high-school student without much in terms of personality – encounters a parallel world called Da’at. It is a ruined, post-apocalyptic version of Tokyo which serves as a battlefield for the eternal war between angels and demons. Unwittingly drawn into this conflict, the main character will have to pick a side in the battle for the future of mankind. The “Vengeance” version of the game is an overhaul of the original Shin Megami Tensei V, adding an entirely new storyline as well as several gameplay mechanics. It also adds support for Windows PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. The original game was available only on Nintendo Switch, so this is a big improvement; however, Mac support was not even considered. Thankfully, you can address this issue on your own. There are currently two game modes – deathmatch and team deathmatch – and there are plans to add more. Both modes will require you to think tactically and be deliberate with your actions. Furthermore, the game’s graphics present a surprising challenge; your enemies might be genuinely hard to spot. If you’re smart and willing to adapt, however, this challenge also represents an opportunity. How to play Soulmask on Mac
Soulmask is a survival sandbox game developed by CampFire Studio. It starts like many other games in the genre do, by throwing you out into the wilderness without much in terms of guidance or protection. Naturally, you will then attempt to lift yourself out of this state of abject poverty by picking up sticks and stones. But you will not be doing manual work forever. There’s no automation in this game, but there is an immersive alternative: you can create your own tribe. You can recruit NPCs to become tribe members, who can be assigned to do specific tasks. This system is very flexible, allowing most things in the game to be “automated” in this way. But NPCs also have skills which determine how good they will be at any given task, so you don’t want to recruit just about anyone! Exploration in this game is decent as well; it features a hand-crafted world with beautiful vistas, rustic villages, and mysterious ruins. Why don’t you jump right into the game to experience it all for yourself? Ah, right. Soulmask is not available on Mac. Sad, but it doesn’t have to be an obstacle; with our guide you can learn how to play Soulmask on Mac despite its official incompatibility.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is an action-adventure game developed by Ninja Theory. It is a sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice; the story continues from where the first game left off. Our protagonist – a Celtic warrior woman by the name of Senua – has just returned from Helheim, and has accepted that it’s not possible to bring her dead lover back to life. But that does not mean that her journey is over; Senua now intends to walk the path of revenge. And oh boy, she is going to be good at it! Much of your time in Hellblade II will be spent in combat, viciously fighting the Norsemen with your trusty sword. You generally won’t grow in power throughout the game; most abilities will be available to you right from the start. Despite this, the combat shouldn’t get boring. Your skillset may remain the same, but new enemies will be introduced constantly. Fittingly for an adventure game, Hellblade II also features many environmental puzzles, providing you a much-needed respite from brutal fighting. The game has released on Windows PC and Xbox Series X/S, and doesn’t feature an official Mac version. Despite this, it’s actually possible to play Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II on a Mac. Ghost of Tsushima is an action game developed by Sucker Punch Productions. It depicts the first Mongol invasion of Japan, a historical event that occurred in the 13th century. The first place Mongols targeted was a small island called Tsushima, which is located far away from the Japanese mainland, but close to the Korean peninsula. This is where the game takes place. You will be playing as Jin Sakai, a local samurai on a quest to halt the invasion and prevent the Mongols from ever reaching the mainland. However, the Japanese army stationed on the island suffers a devastating defeat, so Jin is forced to employ guerilla tactics to pursue his objectives. Since you can’t fight many people at once, you’ll have to split enemy groups by using firecrackers and smoke bombs. You can also kill them from afar using either a bow, kunai, or explosives, and even make them fight each other by confusing them with hallucinogenic poison darts. Ghost of Tsushima originally released on PS4 in 2020, and was ported to PS5 a year later. In 2024, the game also came to PC. Using several unofficial tools, it’s also possible to play Ghost of Tsushima on Mac. Learn all about them in the guide below.
