Diablo Immortal, developed by Blizzard Entertainment, is an upcoming game in the MMORPG genre. This sets it apart from other games in the series, as all of them were Action RPGs (though there were multiplayer elements). Now, if this was a game by some other developer, this might’ve been a cause for concern, as creating MMORPGs is a very difficult process that is hard to get right. That said, this is Blizzard Entertainment we’re talking about. They know a thing or two about these games, having created World of Warcraft. This alone is a reason to be optimistic about Diablo Immortal, but for those that want to know more, there’s a lot of information about what the game will be like.
First of all, Diablo Immortal is a smartphone-only game. To that end, certain considerations were taken to ensure the game appeals to mobile audience. The most important one is that the game will be free to play. Those wary of such games should know, however, that the developers intend to make all purchases feel strictly optional, and promise us that the game will not feature an energy system. The game has also been designed to be playable in short bursts of 5-15 minutes at a time -most activities in the game were made to fit this timeframe. But it will still be a Diablo game, grim-feeling and dungeon-focused just like the other games in the series.
The developers do not plan to let people play Diablo Immortal on PC or Mac, however, it is still possible to do so. Read how in the guide below.

Apex Legends Mobile is a free-to-play battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment. As the name suggests, it is a mobile version of Apex Legends, with largely the same gameplay and style. It is still an intense, fast-paced shooter where players are grouped into three-person teams. The characters still have distinct abilities, the teams still have to battle each other until there’s only one team left. Apex Legends Mobile didn’t get its name by being an entirely different game.
Yet, Apex Legends Mobile is not just a port that keeps everything as close to the original as possible. There are still significant differences, made to make the game better suited for mobile audiences. For one, the game will not feature the full roster of characters available to Apex Legends players. Another change is that Apex Legends Mobile is a third-person game, while the PC version is played in first-person. The maps and the characters’ abilities have been altered as well – though not in major ways.
Overall, this makes for a rather different, though still similar game. Even if you’ve played Apex Legends in the past, you might still want to check out the mobile version. Maybe you’ll find that it better suits your tastes, or maybe you’ll just find it to be a refreshingly different way to play the game. But, of course, the mobile version is only available on smartphones. That doesn’t mean you can’t play Apex Legends Mobile on PC, though – the guide below will help you with that.

Honkai Impact 3rd is an action game in anime style. The game is developed by miHoYo Limited, the same people that brought you Genshin Impact – indeed, the games share some similarities.
Gameplay-wise, Honkai is primarily focused on melee combat (“hack-n-slash”) while also incorporating elements of other genres such as social simulator. The player controls one character in a team of three and can switch between them at any time. Each character has their own, unique skills, and can be further customized by equipping items and “Stigmata”. As not all characters are equipped to fight all enemies, tactically switching between them is required to play efficiently. The game also includes several minigames that are significantly different in gameplay – for example, there is a platforming minigame. But there’s more to Honkai Impact than the gameplay. The game has a fairly complex story about monsters called Honkai. These monsters come to Earth whenever the humanity gets too technologically advanced with the goal of wiping out their progress. Several organizations have sprung up to combat Honkai – the one most central to the plot is Schicksal – the faction that that fights using Valkyries (the characters that the player controls on missions). Originally a smartphone exclusive available only on Android and iOS, Honkai has since been ported to Windows due to popular demand. And although it did not receive a Mac port, there are still several ways to play Honkai Impact 3rd on Mac.

Modern Combat 5 Blackout is a game in the Modern Combat series, developed and published by Gameloft. Much like all the other games in the series, it is a first-person shooter, however, unlike its predecessors, it is a free game. In addition to that, Modern Combat 5’s gameplay formula has also been redesigned to allow for shorter gameplay sessions – great when you don’t have much time. Featuring both a singleplayer and a multiplayer mode, Modern Combat 5 Blackout has plenty to offer. In the singleplayer campaign, the player will take on a set of missions to take down a terrorist group called The World Liberation Army. The missions go beyond simply killing enemies and include various twists to spice up the gameplay – the player will have to control turrets on moving vehicles, such as boats and helicopters, fight unmanned drones, and take down targets from afar with a sniper rifle. The multiplayer mode, meanwhile, will have the player compete with others in 8 different modes, such as Capture the Flag, Zone Control, and Free For All. There is even a Battle Royale mode – though it has only been added recently and is still in beta. Although Modern Combat, as a series, is generally a mobile-focused franchise, Modern Combat 5 was made available for Windows in 2018, becoming the first game in the series to release on PC. It is also available on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Nintendo Switch. There’s no MacOS support though – but with this guide you’ll be able to play Modern Combat 5 Blackout on Mac anyway.
