Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a JRPG developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios. Like most games in this genre, it is turn-based and follows a party of characters rather than one person. There’s still a protagonist, though – a young boy named Nowa who recently became a city guard. Despite his inexperience, he is sent on a dangerous mission to explore an ancient ruin, and it all goes downhill from there. Gameplay-wise, you will experience plenty of combat, with a decent amount of exploration thrown in as well. Throughout most of the game, you will be recruiting people for your army, as you eventually become its leader. Though completing the game is not difficult, many side quests will give you no directions at all, so you will have to figure out how to complete them on your own. Sker Ritual is a first-person shooter developed and published by Wales Interactive. To be more specific, it’s a horror survival game inspired by the “zombies” mode from Call of Duty. Although zombies themselves do not make an appearance in this game, many other monsters do. No Rest for the Wicked is an action-oriented RPG developed by Moon Studios GmbH. Set in the distant past, the game combines souls-like hack-n-slash combat, gorgeous landscapes, and a suitably grim story. The land of Sacra is suffering from many issues. A magical plague called “The Pestilence” corrupts people, animals, and even the ground itself. King Harol, a wise and just ruler, has recently died, leaving the throne to his rash and inexperienced son Magnus. The church sees the plague as a way to advance their own ambitions, while various rebel groups begin to appear on the country’s outskirts. Fighting will be your primary activity in this miserable world; just like in a Souls game, combat is relatively slow-paced but also unforgiving. You’ll have to choose your moves carefully, as even one mistake can get you killed. The game also includes more peaceful content, like fishing, farming, and interior decorating. It Takes Two is a story-based action-adventure videogame developed by Hazelight Studio. The studio is already known to players for the iconic 4-year old masterpiece called “A Way Out”. It Takes Two is a fascinating game drawing the line between two players who are up to rebuild the relationship between Cody and May, a couple being at the edge of divorce. Overhearing the discord of parents, their daughter Rose relents to the tool shack and cries on the hand-made dolls of her parents. She wants them to regain love and tries to find the answer in her “Book of Love”, written by the “world-known expert of love” Dr.Hakim. The next day after, Cody and May appear in a cartoony world, apparently presented by Dr.Hakim. Now they are challenged to come through multiple missions. To complete them, players will share a split-screen to synergize and navigate each character to find a new spark of love. The game is very interesting and full of various missions that will keep you engaged in the process. It Takes Two does not require both players to possess the game, instead, you can invite any of your friends using the “Remote Play Together” feature. This captivating story can be officially thrilled across Windows, PlayStation, and Xbox series. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a stealth action game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game is very different from its predecessors, Odyssey and Valhalla. Most notably, it removes most roleplaying features found in the last few games, choosing to focus on stealth and combat instead. In this sense, it is very similar to older Assassin’s Creed titles. Story-wise, Mirage is set in Baghdad during the 9th century. The game’s protagonist, Basim Ibn Ishaq, starts his life as a lowly street thief. Driven by his need to correct an injustice, however, he eventually becomes a capable assassin and joins the Assassin Brotherhood. Skilled and cunning, Basim has many tools at his disposal, including poison darts, smoke bombs, and the iconic Hidden Blade. Ubisoft developers revealed that Basim is intended to be “the ultimate assassin” who is generally better and more capable than the protagonists of other Assassin’s Creed games.
