Batman: Arkham Origins is an action-adventure game developed by WB Games Montreal. It is the third game in the Batman: Arkham series, preceded by Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and followed by Arkham Knight. That said, it is actually a prequel; the story of the game takes place before all other games in this series.
When it comes to the story, Origins puts its focus on exploring the beginnings of Batman. Over the course of the game, he will encounter, for the first time, many iconic characters from the series. He will instill fear into Gotham City’s numerous gangs and criminals. He will, despite this success, get in trouble with Gotham’s police for his vigilante behavior.
Batman’s relative lack of experience does not stop him from having shiny toys, however. You will be able to use the many gadgets from previous Arkham games as well as several new ones, be it to fight enemies, resolve mysteries, or simply traverse the city.
