Developed by Hangar 13, Mafia: Definitive Edition is an official remake of Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven about to rock the streets of bloody crime on September, 25. The 18+ shooter saturated with an adventurous plot narrates the story of Tommy Angelo, a cabdriver unexpectedly facing and becoming a member of the most authoritative Mafia grouping, which strives to instill horror in its opponents and become the most powerful group dominating the streets of Lost Heaven. Likewise original series, the scene will unfold in the 1930s, the period known for the rise of criminalistic influence. Initially, the 2K company stated that the forthcoming masterpiece will be based on the updated version of the Illusion Engine. Soon after, representatives of Hangar 13 refuted the fact and announced that Mafia: Definitive Edition is being developed on the basis of a new, completely unknown engine, grown in the studio laboratories. The preview build was released a month ago and has already made a good impression on Mafia lovers.
